- Initial Consultation
During the complimentary consultation we explore your ideas and objectives for the remodel or construction of your new home. As the scope of your new project is discussed in depth we discover your vision, desired architectural style, lifesytle needs and budget. This will help to ensure that we are a good fit as your designer/builder, and that our services will be of the utmost benfit to you, our client.
On average the pre-construction process can take up to three months to complete. The Design/Build process helps to provide the client a greater understanding of the scope of the completed project. In coordinating the needs of each individual client and delivering exceptional quality, establishing open lines of communication is essential.
- Design Development
Once retained, Hobus Homes develops a preliminary conceptual design for presentation and evaluation. Upon design approval and selection of finishes a preliminary budget estimate is prepared, allowing you an opportunity to adjust the design in order to help reduce costs or add amenities not previously thought affordable. This phase unifies design versus cost issues, keeping the Owner's best interests and budgetary constraints at the forefront. Following client approved construction budget, drawings are sent to Truss Engineering.
As your selected builder, we highly encourage you to make changes during the design development phase, before drawings are finalized and sent to Truss Engineering, as this will ensure the absolute best construction and delivery of your new home with very few or no change order fees throughout construction. Upon receipt of Truss Engineering, drawings are sent to Structural Engineering.
- Construction
Signed and Sealed Drawings are submitted to local building authority for permitting.
Groundbreaking and construction schedule will vary depending on the complexity of the project.
